An apartment home on Winthrop Street in Watertown was severely damaged by fire late Friday night. Fire was contained to the apartment of origin, the house suffered smoke and water damage. The fire is still under investigation. Click HERE for more info.

Firefighters Jeff Narrow and Troy Chisamore were honored at Tuesday nights city council meeting for their actions at at an apartment fire on October 3rd in which they saved the life of a man trapped in the building.

Firefighters Jeff Narrow (D Plt.) and Troy Chisamore (A Plt.) along with other WFD members rescued a man from an apartment fire on Sterling St on Sunday October 3rd. The structure suffered smoke and water damage. The man remains in serious condition at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. READ MORE HERE

Captain Russ Randall was promoted to Deputy Fire Chief Monday Night. As second in command Chief Randall will oversee day to day operations of the Department. Congratulations to Chief Randall and good luck in your new position.
